All of our six properties are master leased by the City and County of San Francisco from private individuals. The properties are all Single Room Occupancy Buildings and vary from site to site. Many were built in the early 1900s and require a lot of care to stay in good condition. The units are leased to formerly homeless individuals through the Department of Public Health’s Direct Access to Housing (DAH) Program. Tenants pay a portion of their income for rent, and are required to have a third party payer for rent payment. For more information about the DAH program, including how to apply, visit http://www.sfdph.org/dph/comupg/oprograms/HUH/dah.asp.
