Delivering Innovation in Supportive Housing provides supportive housing to 450 San Francisco residents across 6 properties, based in the Tenderloin and Mission neighborhoods. Each site provides housing to formerly homeless individuals. Tenants pay a portion of their income for rent, and have access to a stable community, on-site supportive services, and life affirming activities such as yoga, cooking, and gardening.
We practice harm reduction, which means meeting tenants where they are. We believe in helping people achieve their own goals, and recognizing that we all have the right to make choices about how we live our lives. Ultimately, our job is to help people stay housed – not to place judgment or force our own expectations and views onto our tenants.
