Community Project Manager
Ariel joined DISH in 2013 after 4 years of living in San Francisco and feeling disconnected from her neighbors. At the national non-profit KaBOOM!, Ariel learned first hand how a dedicated collection of individuals could improve their community from the inside out with the right leverage and opportunities. Thru her various volunteer roles with disaster relief organizations and Rebuilding Together, she gained the understanding of the power and need in having a safe place to call home. Ariel joined DISH because she was inspired by the simple, yet ingenious approach to caring for a marginalized and vulnerable population. Care is taken into high regard in almost every facet of their work and it makes showing up everyday an easy and inspiring choice. With a passion for social justice, Ariel strives to enhance DISH’s existing impact in their tenant’s lives and the surrounding community to which they contribute.
