Community Building Program

DISH’s Community Building Program aims to provide our tenants with activities that aid in developing social skills, improve their mental and physical health, and include enrichment such as arts and cultural events, all of which provides greater self-esteem and personal fulfillment.

Tenants show off their custards at a crockpot cooking class, led by Brother Lawrence Dining Community.

DISH works with local organizations to provide a well rounded selection of programs at each site. These include programs such as yoga, art workshops, and educational programs such as crockpot cooking classes, drug overdose prevention, and wellness workshops.
