General Manager, Empress
Jack has worked in social services in San Francisco for the past 20 years. He formerly worked at the Progress Foundation for over 10 years in Crisis and Long Term Residential settings. Residential treatment proved challenging because at some point, residents needed to leave the treatment setting and find another place to live. Jack sought an opportunity to work with individuals where they live, which led him to a position with the Tenderloin Neighborhood Development Corporation, working for several years as a general manager and property supervisor. This eventually led him to DISH, where the mission and values appealed to his intention to help end homelessness.
