Leila Perrard
Fund Development Manager
Leila was born in Normandy, France and grew up by the beach and mountains of the Bask Country. After obtaining a BS in European Law, Leila worked in marketing and advertising in Paris, and later London. In 2017, she moved to San Francisco and realized the magnitude of the housing and homelessness crisis. She decided to move to the non-profit world and joined DISH in August 2018 as Fund Development Manager. She is thrilled to be a part of welcoming people home!
What is home for you?
I experienced not being safe in the house that was meant to be my home. I know that home is not just a roof over your head, but it’s love and peace, it’s a secure place to return to. Now I turn down invitations to go out because I prefer to stay home with my husband and my cat! They are my home.
Fun Fact:
I still don’t know how to drive a car but can make delicious homemade gnocchis!
