Laurie spent her early career in the for-profit retail industry and the last 20 years of her career in the nonprofit space working for San Francisco nonprofits in Workforce Development and Social Enterprise initiatives for the homeless and at-risk individuals. Now semi-retired, she still does some nonprofit consulting. Laurie got first hand experience working with DISH when she ran a Front Desk Staffing social enterprise and DISH was her favorite customer. Having worked in the nonprofit space for a long time, coupled with having direct experience with the population DISH houses and serves, Laurie hopes to be a valuable asset on the Board.
