Marisa brings over four decades of commitment to service and community engagement, a journey that began in her youth and has continued throughout her professional life. With a career background in public health and a long history of volunteer work with numerous nonprofit organizations, she now serves in healthcare operations, where her leadership and expertise make a meaningful impact. Her goal is to leverage her extensive healthcare experience and leadership skills to advance DISH's mission and improve health outcomes for San Francisco's vulnerable populations. She aims to strengthen partnerships between DISH and healthcare providers, develop strategies to integrate health services with housing support, and advocate for policies that recognize housing as a critical health intervention.
