Rey Regala

Senior General Manager, Camelot and Empress

Rey originally came from the Philippines where he had worked in Department of Public Health in the city of Manila. From there, he had decided to venture out and work in the Middle East as a surveyor. After the contract, he went to Japan and worked as a Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machine operator. His experience in both countries had taught him to be resilient and adaptable to new customs and traditions. He immigrated to the USA in 1994 and became a naturalized citizen in August 2003. He started with DISH as a desk clerk when DISH began property management at the Le Nain in 2007. Rey has loved working with DISH because of the acknowledgement and recognition of employee performance. DISH provides essential training for its employees in how to work with people who have formerly experienced homelessness and live with trauma, mental illnesses, substance abuse and disabilities. Rey believes that although DISH is a non-profit organization, the benefits and wages to its employees are competitive to others. That is why many employees stay and grow with DISH. The job is fulfilling, serving the least and disadvantageous population, and makes the heart grow fonder.
